We arrive 1-2 hours before your guests arrive so that your guests do not
walk into a silent room. The ambience is set before your guests arrive.
2. How much experience do you have?
Our 25 years of experience will ensure the quality, professionalism
and elegance you're seeking. W.eddings, corporate events, proms, sweet 16s
birthday parties, anniversaries, block parties, graduations and so many
more.
3. In case of an accident or illness who will DJ my event?
There is always a DJ on standby for such emergencies. An on-call or back up
DJ is only a phone call away. We'll be there for you!

DJ, Announcer, Director, Wedding Planner; Audio/Video Engineer, Comedian,
Problem Solver, Public Relations Specialist; and more. Your DJ is
immeasurably important. 81% of brides polled after their wedding, says they

priority. According to Modern Bride (May 1992) the average bride spends

will play in the success of your event.

We use CDs and MP3s - these formats are much better and sound clarity
has a noticeable quality over vinyl.

When should I book my DJ?
Immediately! Many of our weddings are booked a year in advance, therefore
we encourage that you book today. We are blessed to be busy and in high
demand and must take events on a first come basis.
A 150.00 deposit is required to secure your date. The deposit is applied to
the balance due. Final payment of the balance must be received three (3)
days before the date of your event. Your DJ will not be required to perform
until the balance is received. No personal checks are accepted. Cash is
accepted before the DJ begins the event.
8. Can I meet my DJ before my wedding?
Absolutely! You can speak and meet with your DJ long before your event to
ensure everything happens the way you've planned it.
9. Can I see my DJ perform?
Many wedding books, magazines and professionals recommend seeing your DJ
perform live: We agree and support this idea; however, the nature of our
business makes it difficult to do. By protecting the privacy of our clients, we ensure that the event doesn't
become an audition or wedding expo for potential clients. It also
guarantees that our focus will be on you. We can, however, set up an
appointment where you can meet and speak with your DJ, review our library of
music, in the meantime, we hope that you'll read the testimonials; and we're
sure that you're have a similar experience.
10. Do I need to pick out all the songs for the reception?
We will help you decide on the music formats preferred by you and your
guests. In addition to selections for formal dances and other activities, we
ask our clients to give us a list of 5-7 "must play" songs and any songs
not to be played. Your DJ will then use his experience to play the right
songs throughout the reception.
11. Will you play requests?
Yes, unless the song is on your do not play list. The DJ will use his or her
judgment when playing requests based on your do not play list, type of song
requested, time remaining in the evening and position of your event.
Example; if someone wants to hear a Rap song before the First Dance at a
wedding; we would honor that request at a later time.
12. Can I give you a list?
Yes. We want to play the music you like. However, we will not be held to
following a list and play in a particular order. Family Legacy DJs are
excellent at placing requests appropriately without disturbing the mood,
atmosphere or party vibe. Remember, you're hiring a DJ, not a jukebox
13. We've put a lot of time in creating a list of music we like and our
guests approve? Will you play what we've selected?
No. We do appreciate and applaud the effort. However, please understand,
that, emotions, feelings, vibe, energy, enthusiasm, and attitude are all
likely to change by the date of your wedding.
Servicing Delaware, the Greater Philadelphia area, Maryland, and South Jersey weddings and celebration events.
